About Half Moon Yoga
Half Moon Yoga is run by Hannah, she teaches both Yoga and Pilates classes within Bridgend and surrounding areas. Hannah also offers one to one sessions in Yoga.
Hannah has and continues to work alongside Communities First, offering one off taster sessions and 6-8 week courses with local groups such as Special Families, Mental Health Matters Wales, and Cefn Cribwr W.I.
Hannah first started practicing yoga in 2004 as a way of easing symptoms of anxiety. Continuing throughout College and university and after graduating from uni with a BSc Hons in Psychology she decided to train as a yoga Instructor. First training with the British School of Yoga completing both Yoga and Pilates training in 2013, and has also completed a Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2016.
Hannah is also a member of and Insured with the BWY.
The classes Hannah teaches are Hatha and vinyasa style flowing classes incorporating yoga philosophy, meditation and relaxation. Hannah is keen to encourage working with the body, not against it, finding what works for the student, promoting positive body image and providing techniques to help settle the mind, reducing stress and anxiety. She encourages anyone with an interest in learning yoga to come along and give it a go!
